This audiobook was provided free of charge in exchange for my honest unbiased opinion. The narrator did an awesome job bringing the story to life. Or are they? I don't want to give out spoilers. There are 2 murders and some attempted murders that might be connect. The killer could still be living in the area and if there are any witnesses, the killer might stop at nothing do silence the witnesses. The remains of a six year old are found in a construction site. Detectives are trying to solve a murder case that happened almost 30 years ago. If you like suspenseful detective novels with lots of twists and turns you would like this book. I wish there was a bit more romance intertwined in this stressfully suspenseful novel. Matt annoyed me with his suspicions but things got ironed out at the end. Poor Sara goes through a lot in this book.
The suspense, twists and turns kept me engaged. I had to place close attention so I would not get lost. There are several people's perspective throughout the book which makes it a bit harder to follow at times. It is an interesting and well written book. I enjoyed listening to this audiobook but to be able to keep up with so many characters, I had to get the Kindle version to read along.
